Rural Development Society - Sillalai
The above society has been functioning for the past 55 years for
the welfare of the villagers in every field; many
progressive developments have been implemented and
carried out fervently.
Now we are at the doorstep of the 56th year.
We have decided to celebrate this anniversary from the 5th of December 2004.
In the past we have introduced a revolving loan system
among the villagers to encourage them in the
self-employment projects.
Our ancient art and dramatic styles (Naddukooththu) have
been modified and developed through youngsters.
An organization called “Arivolir Onrium” has been
inaugurated under the guidance of R. D. S. It is
conducting a free tuition center to cater for the poor
school going children.
To promote the living conditions of the farmers we have
got two water pumps and a sprayer from an organization
called “HUDEC” and rent them to the farmers at a
very low rate.
Relevant developmental programmes have been implemented and are
functioning well:
1. Helping the farmers during the natural calamities like
floods, drought etc.
2. Paying allowances to the volunteer teachers.
3. Promoting our cultural, artistic and dramatic styles
up to the standard.
4. Helping the poor school children in their needs.
The success of these programmes very much depends on the moral
and the financial assistance you give.

வருடங்களாக சில்லாலை கிராமத்தின் முன்னேற்றத்தில் முக்கிய பங்கேற்று பல வேலைத்திட்டங்களை முன்னெடுத்து மூச்சும் முனைப்புடனும் செயற்பட்டுவரும் சில்லாலை கிராம அபிவிருத்திச்சங்கம் தனது

வது ஆண்டில் கால்பதிக்கும் விழாவை எதிர்வரும்
2004ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்கழி மாதம்
5ம் திகதி தொடக்கம் கொண்டாடி மகிழ்கின்றது.
கடந்த காலங்களில் தடம் பதித்தவைகளில் முக்கியமானவைகளில் சில:
1.
சுய தொழில் வாய்ப்புக்கடனாக தலா ரூபா
10,000/= ஒவ்வொரு பயனாளிக்கும் பகிர்ந்தளித்து அவர்களின் தொழில் முன்னேற்றங்களில் முக்கியபங்கு வகிக்கிறது.
2.
பாரம்பரிய கலை, கலாச்சாரங்களைப் பேணும் முகமாக அவைகளை மெருகூட்டி இளைஞர்களின் பங்களிப்பின் மூலம் அவைகளை கட்டிக்காத்து வருகிறது.
3.
"அறிவொளிர் ஒன்றியம்" ஒன்றையமைத்து இலவச ரியூசன் வகுப்புக்களை நடாத்தி வறுமைப்பட்ட பிள்ளைகளின் கல்விமேம்பாட்டிற்கான பங்களிப்பைச் செய்கிறது.

எம்மூர் விவசாயிகளின் நலன் கருதி "கியூடெக்" நிறுவனத்திலிருந்து பெறப்பட்ட இரு நீரிறைக்கும் இயந்திரங்களும், ஒரு தெளிகருவியும் குறைந்த விலையில் வாடகைக்குக் கொடுத்து உதவி அளிக்கின்றது.
இப்படி பல முன்னேற்றகரமான முனைப்புகள் மூலம் எம்கிராமத்திற்கு சிறப்புத் தொண்டாற்றி வருகின்றோம்.
அடுத்து, இயற்கை பொய்க்கையில் (கடும் வறட்சி, வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு முதலியவைகளால்) பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு உதவுதல், இலவச வகுப்புக்களை நடாத்தும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வேதனம் வழங்குதல், பாரம்பரிய கலை, கலாச்சார நிகழ்வுகளை மென்மேலும் முன்னெடுத்தல், வறுமைக்கோட்டிற்கு கீழுள்ள பிள்ளைகளின் தரமறிந்து மேம்பட உதவுதல், ஊரின் வீதிகளில் மின்விளக்கேற்றி ஒளிமயமாக்கல் போன்ற பல முக்கிய விடயங்களை கவனத்திற்கெடுத்துள்ளோம்.
இவைகளை சீராகவும், சிறப்பாகவும் செயற்படுத்துவதற்கு உங்களின் ஒத்துளைப்பையும், பங்களிப்பையும் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றோம்.
